DESCRIPTION:\nCreative Collisions is a mini-docuseries interviewing faculty
 \, alumni\, and community members about their creative pathways to success
 . Generously sponsored by a Helen Frankenthaler Foundation Grant\, this pr
 oject is a Champlain College Art Gallery Initiative in collaboration with 
 film faculty Mira Niagolova and student production assistants Aidan Bourqu
 e’ 27\, Gwyneth Herman ‘27\, and Zane Odum ‘26.\n\n\n\nThe goal of t
 his project is to record interviews with professional creatives about thei
 r early stages and connections that lead to where they are professionally 
 now. It focuses on the hidden job market and non linear career trajectorie
 s that are part of the creative journey. The format is simple: each interv
 iew asks the same eight questions with the intention to explore variations
  on the definition of success within a creative practice. In addition to t
 he interview\, our production assistants work closely with each artist to 
 provide examples of the creative process. Composed of various Creative Stu
 dio majors\, our Production Team helps to script\, edit\, and film\, and w
 ork on pre-and post-production with the guidance of a faculty advisor. Thi
 s opportunity involves our students in a broad way\, giving them real-worl
 d experience in their majors while also creating a library of artists that
  any one can “check out” at will to help them discover career pathways
 . The Creative Collisions Project can be found online at the Champlain Col
 lege Art Gallery website as well as on YouTube and Vimeo.\n\n\n\nJoin us o
 n Saturday\, October 24th at 4:15 pm in the Auditorium for a first glimpse
  at the Creative Collisions Docu-Series. We will be launching four intervi
 ews with Faculty\, Al Larsen and Stella Marrs\; Creative Media Alumni\, Ni
 cholas Hollay\; and Community Advocate Christine Tyler Hill.\n
