Mt. Philo Morning Hike

Included as part of your Champlain Weekend registration. This is a free event for current students who sign up for the bus at the Hub Desk.

Experience Vermont’s world famous fall colors on this easy to moderate hike at Mount Philo State Park! From the summit, enjoy stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks framed by brilliant autumn foliage.

This popular trail showcases Vermont’s greatest strength – our spectacular natural beauty during peak leaf peeping season. Perfect for all skill levels and ideal for capturing those classic Vermont fall photos.

Bring water, comfortable shoes, and your camera!

Note: We will have a bus taking students and guests, but you are also welcome to drive. The address is 5425 Mt. Philo Road, Charlotte, Vermont 05445.

Timeframe:

8:00 AM: Welcome participants taking transportation, shoe/water bottle check
8:30AM: Depart campus
9:00 AM: Meet at Trailhead, group photo
9:05 AM: Student Engagement Team starts the hike
12:00 PM: Return to Campus
